What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Seasonal Cashier position at Default (All-EOS Job Aggregator)?
As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for guests at our retail store providing excellent customer service while handling transactions efficiently. This is a great opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced resort environment, assisting guests as they enjoy our accommodations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
- Accurately process transactions, including cash, credit cards, and resort payment systems.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to enter sales and issue receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station.
- Assist with answering guest inquiries about resort amenities, and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
- Assist with stocking and inventory as needed.
- Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Balance house bank at the end of the shift. Retrieves and stores bank per resort guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous cashier, customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle transactions quickly and accurately.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively deal with and resolve conflict situations, such as inaccurate check total.
- Ability to operate a keyboard and Point of Sale equipment and procedures to handle cashier functions.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
