The Kingston Resorts is a 145 acre oceanfront resort on the north-end of Myrtle Beach. Less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20 minute trip to Broadway at the Beach. JOB SUMMARY:
- Diagnose and repair telephone hardware and wiring issues.
- Maintain PBX and VoIP systems for optimal performance.
- Coordinate with telecom providers for service issues.
- Ensure emergency lines and guest communication systems are functional.
- Install and terminate Cat, Fiber and Cable lines according to current standards.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance schedules.
- Demonstrate a team-focused attitude and encourage collaboration.
- Understand and use safe work practices for all safety precautions including Emergency Evacuation Procedures, Violence in the Workplace, Accident Reporting, OSHA Compliance, and Bloodborne Pathogen Procedures.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
- Comply with all policies as outlined in the Handbook, Property Supplement, or otherwise issued including time and attendance expectations, uniform and dress code standards, anti-harassment policy, and substances in the workplace.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma/GED or technical certification in telecom systems.
- 2 years of experience in telephone system maintenance.
- Must have a valid SC driver's license with a good driving record
- Knowledge of PBX, VoIP, and analog systems.
- Ability to work independently and handle urgent repairs.
- Minimum of 5 years Telecom/Network experience, hotel/lodging environment highly preferred
- Strong understanding of lodging operations; reservations, appropriate guest service etiquette, etc.
- Available and willing to work flexible hours based on business needs including weekdays and weekends.
- Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Must know how to prioritize and respond in a timely fashion. Able to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused while maintaining hospitality.
