Be a part of a supportive team of peers while providing excellent customer service. Our pool cashier assists members of the public by providing information on our aquatic facilities.
We are looking for:
Seasonal-Part time Pool Cashier, Concessions, & Slide Attendants
Pay rate: $15 per hour.

Essential Functions Include:
- Answers incoming telephone calls and gives accurate information in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Assist in keeping office area clean and organized.
- Contacts EMS in the event of an emergency
- Notifies Pool manager of any accidents or problems that arise.
- Maintains a polite and courteous manner to patrons and staff.
- Follows all park district regulations and policies.
- Admits patrons into the pool by checking tickets and scanning them into the system.
- Answers questions from members of the public while keeping a friendly demeaner.
- Handles cash, credit cards, and coupons accurately
- Ensures cleanliness and food safety standards in the concession stand
- Prepare and handle food correctly and safely
- Regular cleaning and washing
- Restocking food and drinks
- Handling money with accuracy and diligence
- Communicating with managers promptly and clearly
Requirements
- Enjoys having fun!
- Must pass a background check.
- Must be 16 years of age.
- Ability to lift to 30 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Pool season starts June and runs through September 2. Training begins in May. Pool Cashiers are expected to work throughout the summer.
Pay Range: $15–$18.25 per hour, with a starting target pay of $18.25 per hour.
