The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND. Your Responsibility As a Part-time Student for Intelligence Solutions Group located in Urbandale, Iowa you will: Collaborate with computer vision, robotics, and machine learning project teams to deliver simulations to aid in algorithm development and testing. Work on Unreal Gaming Engine simulations, Matlab Simulink/Simscape simulations, and python code to develop new simulations to support teams. Collaborate on automated workflows to standardize our simulation pipeline using Git, Jenkins, AWS, and Azure Dev Ops. Responsible for communicating and maintaining good documentation. This position is not available to students on immigration visas What Skills You Need Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in a STEM field: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, others may apply. Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited college/university. Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above. Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly. Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly. Independent learner and problem solver. Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later Programming skills and experience with data analysis. High School Graduate Must be able to commute to the work location in Urbandale, IA on a daily basis, year-round Currently pursuing a STEM degree at an accredited college/university What Makes You Stand Out Experience using Matlab Simulink, Simscape, or Unreal Gaming Engine. Programming skills in Python or C++. Experience with robotics or CVML development or testing. Experience working in an Agile environment.
