Job Overview
The Pole Permitting Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the lifecycle of aerial attachment permits by communicating with utilities and permitting entities. This position serves as a key liaison between various internal teams to ensure smooth project timelines.
Location
This position offers flexible work arrangements:
· In-person: Montrose, CO
· Remote: Full-time remote option available
Key Responsibilities
· Track and manage aerial attachment permits throughout their entire permitting lifecycle
· Serve as the primary point of contact with utilities and permitting entities
· Maintain accurate documentation and status updates for all permits
· Coordinate with Aerial Construction Manager, OSP Engineering, Fiber Design, and Operations teams
· Communicate project timelines effectively to all stakeholders
· Monitor permit progress and anticipate potential delays
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with utility companies and permitting agencies
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite applications
· Experience with specialized software including Alden One, ArcGIS Pro, and Katapult Pro
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
· Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
· Experience with utility permitting processes preferred
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Problem-solving skills and proactive approach to potential issues
Preferred Qualifications
· Previous experience in telecommunications, utilities, or construction industries
· Knowledge of aerial fiber deployment processes
· Understanding of utility pole attachment regulations
· Experience with project management methodologies

Pay: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour
