Logistics Support Technician

Position Overview:
We’re hiring a hands-on Logistics Support Technician to work directly under the supervision of the Warehouse and Logistics Manager. This position is physically demanding, fast-paced, and critical for keeping our crews supplied and projects moving.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Logistics Team

• Follow directions and assist with daily warehouse operations
• Keep materials organized, clean and easy to access
• Accurately report shipments, transfers and deliveries
• Assist in managing inventory and staging for field crews
• Follow directions and take ownership of assigned areas, especially the Habitat Yard
• Other duties as assigned

Load & Unload Materials

• Load and unload trucks with fiber internet construction materials
• Stage materials for projects and shipments
• Secure loads safely for transport
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks

Building & Yard Upkeep

• Keep the locations clean and organized
• Maintain yard storage areas and material layout
• Monitor materials, tools, and equipment for damage
• Complete basic landscaping and facility upkeep as needed
• Handle basic maintenance tasks to keep operations running smoothly
• Report on larger repair needs when necessary

Delivery & Travel

• Load, deliver and unload materials to other yards/warehouses
• Moderate regional travel depending on project needs
• Perform basic vehicle checks before and after trips
• Represent the company professionally in the field

Skills and Experience Preferred

• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Reliable. Shows up on time. Every day.
• Strong work ethic. Does not wait to be told what to do.
• Willingness and eagerness to learn.
• Comfortable with physical labor.
• Warehouse and/or delivery experience preferred.
• Forklift/telehandler experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Proficient communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of fiber internet equipment is a plus.

Education and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CDL Class A is a major plus and may become a requirement
• The company will sponsor the correct applicant if necessary
• DOT Physical Card and/or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) safely.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
