Responsibilities:
As a Fiber Splicer at Deeply Digital, you will be responsible for:
- Fiber Optic Splicing: Efficiently splice and terminate fiber optic cables to ensure optimal performance and minimal signal loss.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot fiber optic issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize service disruptions.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks to guarantee that splicing work meets industry standards and our company's high-quality expectations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of splice locations, cable routes, and other relevant data for future reference.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on splicing equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the network engineering and operations teams to coordinate and execute fiber optic projects efficiently.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in fiber optic splicing, with a minimum of [X years] of hands-on experience.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as FOA (Fiber Optic Association) or equivalent are a plus.
