Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in our Adult Family Home setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in condition.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting/use of lifts and transferring them safely.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing housekeeping duties.
- Document client care activities accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
Experience
- Previous experience in senior care, assisted living, or home health is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of memory care techniques and working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
- Working with online EMAR charting is a plus but will train the right individual.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
- A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others is crucial for success in this role.
