Equipment Repair Technician
The Equipment Repair Technician (Ancillary Equipment Technician - AET) is responsible for the preventative maintenance, service, repair and testing of Light Plants, Power Swivels, Tong’s, Hydraulic Pumps, Generator’s, Etc.

Equipment Repair Technician

Position Details
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
- Job Status: Full-time
- Amount of Travel Required: 30%
- Reports to: Ancillary Equipment Manager
- Direct Reports: None
- Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. However, due to the nature of the business, hours may be long and irregular. Weekend and evening hours may be necessary on occasion (on call every other weekend might be expected)
- Compensation: $23.15-33.08/hour, depending on experience

- Servicing all Ancillary Equipment that falls into the department.
- Perform and document all pressure tests for these components after service.
- Obtain and maintain an inventory of consumable materials and parts for these items.
- Organize and maintain the facility including the testing station and Tong cage.
- Assist field personnel with job related problems associated with these components.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: 0 years working with or around ancillary equipment servicing or related job experience; previous experience preferred.
- Ideal candidates will be mechanically inclined, self-motivating individuals with prior order desk and consumable materials management experience.
- Other Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license, meet minimum driving standards for company insurance purposes, and successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical.
