We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Carry out manual labor such as digging, lifting, and moving construction materials
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision, ensuring proper use and maintenance
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures
- Adhere to project timelines by completing assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented approach
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions effectively
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required; reliable transportation is beneficial
