What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Coordinator position at DEEM, LLC?
DEEM is currently looking for a Billing Coordinator to work in our service department. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in billing.
DEEM, LLC is a commercial mechanical and electrical company offering HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Refrigeration, Industrial Piping, Building Automation, and Sheet Metal Installation and services. We are centrally located in Indianapolis, Indiana with satellite offices throughout the Midwest down to the southeastern United States.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Processing of all service billing
- Costing of service work orders
- Ensuring customer requirements are met for billing accuracy
- Coordinate with internal customer representatives and dispatchers for accurate estimation and completion of work orders.
- Collect outstanding balances on unpaid invoices.
- Transpose invoice information into customer specific accounting software
- Confirm origination and destination of part orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2-3 Years of Accounts Receivable or Billing Experience REQUIRED
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Excellent computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requirements
- Strong Data Entry Skills
- High degree of accountability
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively, professionally, and collaboratively with internal and external clients
- Close attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with changing priorities
Desired Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management
- Experience in commercial HVAC Billing and Quoting
Additional Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- Background Check & Drug Screening: Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
- Driver’s License: Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean and insurable driving record. You also must have reliable transportation.
