Parts Hanger (4pm to 2am, Monday through Thursday)

The Parts Hanger will handle, hang and unload parts on overhead conveyor moving at approximate speeds of up to 8 to 10 feet per minute.

Accountabilities:

• Operate a hand truck.
• Perform necessary testing to assure quality of parts in an environmentally safe state and maintain records.
• Support the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste and acting on environmental performance results and findings.
• Clean and change nozzles within the wash system.
• Dump/refill wash stages as needed.
• Fill out proper paperwork for quality standards.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of manufacuring or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to Dee Zee customers.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Must be able to operate hand truck.
• Must demonstrate computer literacy.
• Ability to inspect parts for company quality standards.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and control plan.
• Ability to set up line with proper hook configurations.
• Ability to stand at paint line or wash line for periods of up to 2 hours at a time.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
