Job Summary
We are seeking a Design Center Associate to join our dynamic team at Decks and Docks in the Nashville area. In this role, you will contribute to our mission of providing top-notch materials for outdoor living projects while ensuring customer satisfaction through innovative design solutions. Will be dealing with contractors and homeowners on day-to-day bases by doing quotes on material/job packages and answering questions on desired product.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to understand their design needs and preferences.
- Assist in creating design layouts for decks and docks using company products.
- Provide product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends in outdoor design.
- Support sales efforts by upselling relevant products.
- Ensure a high level of customer service throughout the design process.
- Contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or retail sales.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with design principles related to outdoor spaces is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Must be independent and driven to get new business by doing research and cold calling.
- Willingness to learn/become an expert in outdoor living products.
