Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A or B Truck Driver to join our team! We are looking for a self-motivated and reliable knuckle boom crane operator. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to deliver materials to various job sites. Your role will involve loading and unloading cargo using an articulating knuckle boom, maintaining accurate delivery routes, and providing excellent customer service throughout each delivery.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver materials to designated locations across the service area (usually within 50 mile radius of Downingtown, PA)
- Load and unload cargo using an articulating knuckle boom
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accurate route driving for timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients during deliveries and addressing their questions or concerns
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
- Use software to maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and load/unload records
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Prior delivery driver experience with knuckle boom required
- Valid Crane certification for knuckle boom
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and random drug tests required
