Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing products and developing Certificates of Analysis (COA). Your keen eye for detail, strong analysis skills, and commitment to quality assurance will help maintain our reputation for excellence.The position has a start date in April for training, and fruit processing will begin in May. This is a temporary position, and work will only be available during the fruit processing season from May to August. Hours will fluctuate weekly according to fruit needs. Availability to work weekends is required.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify product specifications.
- Assist in maintaining detailed documentation for quality systems, audit reports, and non-conformance reports to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits, ensuring adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols and other safety standards.
Skills
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) REQUIRED.
- Familiarity with HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations governing manufacturing environments.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret measurement data accurately and identify root causes of quality issues.
- Solid understanding of quality control processes, quality assurance principles, and overall quality management systems.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
