Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our sales team selling decks and porches. This role is responsible for meeting with homeowners, assessing project needs, presenting deck design and material options, and closing sales. This is a customer-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, and earning commission based on results.
Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners for scheduled on-site consultations
- Evaluate project scope, take measurements, and discuss design options
- Educate customers on materials, layouts, timelines, and pricing
- Prepare and present estimates and proposals
- Follow up with leads and manage a sales pipeline
- Work closely with the project management team
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous sales experience (construction, home improvement, or outdoor living preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Basic understanding of construction or willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to use a smartphone, email, and basic software tools
