What are the responsibilities and job description for the Founding Growth Lead position at Decimal AI?
About Decimal
Decimal AI is growing fast. We just closed a new round, we're signing enterprise customers, and gaining market validation. Now we need to tell that story to the world. This is a founding role as the first dedicated growth hire and you'll have real ownership over how Decimal shows up in the market.
Decimal provides AI agents that handle technical support issues at scale. When a ticket comes in, our agent reads the code, logs, configs, and context, then surfaces investigation and next steps to the engineer, cutting resolution time dramatically. Our customers include NVIDIA, Granola, and Composio. We sell to companies with technically complex products that have high-stakes support needs.
What you'll own
- Demand generation and lead generation: building and running programs that fill the top of funnel
- Content across formats: blog posts, case studies, social, email sequences, and thought leadership
- Videos on X, potential podcast content & YouTube content
- Helping experiment with brand and positioning: sharpening how Decimal AI shows up in the market
- Field marketing and events: meetups, sponsorships, and community activations
- Light design work: decks, one-pagers, and social assets (Figma proficiency a plus)
- Website copy and landing page optimizations
What we're looking for
- 2 to 4 years in growth, demand gen, content, or full-stack marketing at a startup or high-growth B2B company
- Experience working directly with founders or executive leadership — you're comfortable with that access and know how to use it well
- Strong writing skills: you can write a cold outreach sequence, a blog post, and a LinkedIn caption without needing three separate people
- Experience running demand gen programs: lead scoring, nurture flows, conversion optimization, and basic CRM hygiene
- Comfortable in data: HubSpot reporting, or similar to track performance and make decisions based on what you find
- Bonus: You've supported field marketing efforts
