Job purpose
The Production Lead is the right hand of the processing manager. The lead lends assistance to the processing manager in leading the processing team. The experience of the lead allows them to be an effective trainer for new hires. They can assist with training in proper techniques for trimming in an efficient and high-quality manner. The lead processor can assist with the collection and organization of daily production rates for all staff. They can support the P.M. by helping uphold the integrity and honesty in the production department, by reporting low production numbers, dishonest behavior, or other staff-related issues. Overall, the lead is a second pair of eyes for all quality of products, production rates, and staff operations within the department.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist with the management and training of production staff
- Provide proper training to new staff
- Communicate with the Production Manager about staff for progress reviews
- Adhere to all SOP’s to set good examples for all staff
- Conduct Quality checks on all production, especially for new staff
- Reporting any quality issues with the product to the Production Manager
- Setting an example for proper production rates, flower quality
- Assist with managing proper labeling, organizing, and storage of materials
- Assists with reporting inventory
- Reports
- Meet weekly with P.M. to report all relevant information
- Suggest improvements to SOPs for the production department
- Special Projects
- Assist P.M. with various tasks that are needed
- Maintain all duties and responsibilities of a processor with little to no supervision.

- Ability to trim all strains and create products with a given recipe, with no supervision
- Set the pace for production rates

Working conditions
Schedules for each team member will be honored and only need adjustment to better support harvest schedules. Production is conducted Monday – Friday, and the working hours of the operations are
10 am – 6:45 pm. Some Holidays will be observed with minimal input from staff to satisfy opening and closing responsibilities.
Physical requirements
Certain days require longer hours and are more physically demanding. Individuals must be fit enough to perform all responsibilities.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
