What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fulfillment Associate position at Decibel Gardens?
Job purpose
The fulfillment associate is a support role to our current fulfillment specialist. This department is responsible for ensuring that orders are put together accurately, and according to all state cannabis regulations. This is a detailed oriented department that upholds extreme accuracy while moving at a rapid pace.
Duties and responsibilities
- Receive daily and weekly orders from the production manager/fulfillment specialist and label accordingly.
- Receives daily goals from the fulfillment specialist to hit targeted deadline for orders.
- Reviewing COA labels as a secondary check
- Labeling products according to the company standards for all outgoing orders
- Organizing & labeling all cannabis product batches for ease of access and compliance needs - physical & digital
- Communicating any perceived issues about:
- Inventory deficiencies - cannabis & non-cannabis products
- Workflow impediments affecting deadlines
- Adhering to timelines set by the fulfillment specialist and production manager.
- Assisting with packaging flower products in times of high demand
- Ensuring a proper environment for cannabis product storage
- Freezer management of retail-ready goods
- Reviewing completed orders for accuracy before delivery

- Manifest Information
- Receiving rejected products, both digital & physical
- Organizing for re-delivery or resale
- Assisting with organizing and communicating aging inventory
- Assisting with loading orders with 3PL partners
- Assisting with loading orders for internal distribution deliveries
Required Skills for Processor
- knowledge of quality factors of cannabis products
- Compliance with inventory labeling & storage
- Metrc/seed-to-sale software operations
- Packaging compliance requirements for cannabis flower & cannabis products of different varieties
Working conditions
Schedules for each team member will be honored, and adjustments will only be needed to support harvest or production schedules. Production is conducted Monday – Friday, and the working hours of the operations are
9::00 am – 5:45 pm. Some Holidays will be observed with minimal input from staff to satisfy opening and closing responsibilities.
Physical requirements
Certain days require more extended hours and are more physically demanding. Individuals must be fit enough to perform all responsibilities.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
