Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment, filters, pumps, and chemical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Perform thorough pool cleaning including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and water balancing to maintain clarity and hygiene
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime
- Adjust chemical levels accurately to maintain safe water quality standards in compliance with health regulations
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, and chemical treatments for each pool
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain maintenance procedures and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or damage
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar pool maintenance role is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair using hand tools and power tools is essential
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and perform necessary repairs promptly
- Prior experience working with maintenance or service teams in residential or commercial settings is advantageous
