RN Weekend Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with excellent leadership and communication skills. You will help and care for patients, supervise nursing staff, offer guidance and support, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and ensure that all operational tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

You will need to be a licensed RN, enjoy working with people, have excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Under direction of the Director of Nursing, the RN Weekend Supervisor

• provides proper patient care;
• administers medications, treatments and general nursing services according to the patient’s care plan and physician directed orders;
• documents daily in medical records, according to care rendered
• investigates, documents and communicates patient incidents – including follow-up interventions
• answers call lights and assists residents as needed
• monitors and controls medication inventories and supplies;
• conducts skin assessments, as required
• follows all clinical protocols, including infection control
• works to resolve all grievances;
• complies with local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations;
• oversees the safety of the patient population by ensuring that all health, fire, safety, and sanitation codes are carried out in accordance with Facility's Disaster and OSHA plans;
• Performs other duties as assigned.
