Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable clerk is responsible for many customer service and administrative organization tasks to promote efficient operations in the office. The duties will vary by day, but will include making bank deposits, posting payments, and answering the phone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering the phone at a reception desk or in a specific department and transferring calls as needed
- Create documents, maintaining databases and sending memos and emails
- Reconciling daily route activity
- Daily deposits and cash counts
- Assisting with accounts receivable, including simple bookkeeping and banking tasks
- Reconciling daily route activity
- Preparing and processing orders
Additional Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, and organizing documents.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the President or CFO.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment:
Office-based environment with working hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Must be flexible and open to taking on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
