We are launching the Students for Debbie Spielberg Leadership Program, a structured opportunity for high school and college students to gain hands on experience in community engagement, event coordination, communications, and team leadership. This program is designed for students who want to build real world skills, grow their résumé, earn SSL or community service hours, and take on meaningful responsibilities.
About Debbie
Debbie Spielberg has spent more than 15 years working in Montgomery County government, where she has focused on strengthening public services, improving community support systems, and making local government more responsive and accessible. She previously served as Legislative Director for Congressman John Lewis, where she worked on issues related to civil rights, community development, and public engagement.
Through this leadership program, students have the opportunity to contribute to community centered initiatives and gain hands on experience in a real civic environment. Students play an important role in helping connect with residents, support community events, and elevate youth perspectives in local conversations.

Students may be assigned a specific title within the program based on their interests and strengths, including:
