Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pizza dough, toppings, sauces, and cheese with precision and consistency.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow recipes meticulously to ensure product quality and adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new toppings or specialty pizzas based on customer preferences.
- Support high-volume production during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times to uphold health regulations and safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous food industry experience, particularly in pizza making or restaurant kitchens, is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques including baking, grilling, braising, poaching, and food production processes.
- Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency operating various kitchen equipment.
- Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide roles is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and food handling regulations.
- Background in catering or fine dining environments can enhance your ability to deliver exceptional quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume settings while adhering strictly to recipe adherence and food safety standards.
