Job Description
Pizza Cook / Line Cook — Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week
We are looking for an experienced pizza cook/line cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable making hand-tossed pizzas and have previous experience working a restaurant line, especially with Italian food, pasta, sauces, and entrees.
Duties
- Prepare and cook hand-tossed pizzas
- Prepare and cook pasta dishes, sauces, and Italian entrees
- Prepare ingredients for daily service
- Chop vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
- Make and portion pizza dough
- Maintain clean and organized work stations
- Follow recipes and portion standards
- Properly store and rotate food
- Keep kitchen equipment and prep areas clean
- Assist other kitchen stations when needed
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner service
Experience Required
- Previous pizza-making experience required
- Previous line cook experience
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen
- Must be reliable and able to work 40 hours per week
- Ability to work well with other kitchen staff
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
