Duties
- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to established standards and recipes.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including portioning and packaging meat products for retail or wholesale.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, following strict food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Support inventory management by checking stock levels, rotating products, and reporting shortages or issues.
- Ensure all meat handling procedures comply with health regulations to guarantee safe food practices.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about meat cuts and recommending products when needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food production, meat cutting, or kitchen environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of various meat cuts are essential.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience in food preparation, packaging, and working within the food industry or restaurant setting.
