- Role Summary:
The CFO is responsible for establishing and managing the financial infrastructure of the U.S. subsidiary, ensuring financial stability, regulatory compliance, and sustainable business growth.
- Key Responsibilities:
· Financial System & Compliance Leadership:
Establish and maintain U.S. financial and accounting systems in full compliance with US GAAP, regulatory
requirements, and internal governance standards.
· Strategic Financial Planning & Budgeting:
Develop and manage annual budgets and long-term financial strategies to support sustainable business
growth and operational scalability.
· Cash Flow, Capital & Investment Management:
Oversee cash flow planning, capital allocation, and investment execution to ensure financial stability and
optimal resource utilization.
· Headquarters Investment & Capital Fund Management:
Manage, safeguard, and allocate investment funds received from HQ, ensuring transparent usage, strict
budget control, and accurate reporting in accordance with approved business plans.
· External Audit, Tax & Banking Management:
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions, ensuring timely reporting,
compliance, and risk mitigation.
· Risk Management & Internal Controls:
Design and implement financial risk management frameworks and internal control systems to safeguard
company assets and ensure financial integrity.
· Financial Reporting & Executive Communication:
Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports and performance analyses for HQ, investors, and executive
leadership.
· Business Expansion & Store Development Support:
Lead financial planning and evaluation for new store openings, business expansion, and strategic
investments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- 15 years of e-commerce or digital retail experience including 7 years of financial leadership experience
- Experience managing U.S. subsidiaries preferred
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and taxation
- Retail, entertainment, or consumer brand experience preferred
- Deep interest and knowledge of K-POP artists, fandom culture, and trends
- Bilingual in English and Korean
- Must be able to work on-site 5 days a week (100% in-person) to ensure effective store management leadership and team
