DeAndrea Land & Stone is a growing landscaping, property maintenance, plant health care, and snow removal company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Morris County and surrounding areas.

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our Office Manager and Owner with day-to-day administrative work, customer communication, scheduling support, and general office organization.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a small business team, likes variety in their day, and takes pride in keeping things organized and moving efficiently behind the scenes.

Position Overview

The Office Assistant will help with customer communication, scheduling, data entry, estimate and invoice support, filing, and general administrative tasks. The right person should be dependable, comfortable communicating professionally with clients, and able to follow through on details without constant supervision.

This role is in-person at our Chester Township office. Hours may be flexible depending on availability, with some seasonal variability during our busier spring, fall, and winter snow seasons.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and assist with phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Help support scheduling for weekly maintenance, cleanups, plant health care, landscape work, and snow-related services
  • Update and maintain customer information, job details, notes, and records in LMN and other company systems
  • Assist with preparing estimates, proposals, service agreements, and invoices
  • Help keep digital and paper files organized and up to date
  • Follow up on customer requests, missing information, approvals, and internal tasks as needed
  • Support the Office Manager and Owner with administrative projects, seasonal preparation, and day-to-day office needs
  • Help keep communication organized between the office, field crews, and customers
  • Assist with basic reporting, spreadsheets, document preparation, and general office organization

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and email
  • Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-moving service business
  • Dependable, punctual, and willing to follow through on open items
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets
  • Comfortable learning software systems; experience with LMN or other scheduling/CRM software is a plus
  • Prior office, administrative, scheduling, or customer service experience preferred
  • Interest in small business operations, landscaping, or service-based businesses is a plus

Schedule & Compensation

  • Flexible schedule; part-time or full-time depending on availability and company needs
  • In-person position based in Chester Township, NJ
  • Seasonal variability, with busier periods in spring, fall, and during snow events
