Job Description
Dean Steel Buildings, Inc is seeking a professional engineer with metal building systems (PEMB) experience to join our family. The position is on-site at the manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Design metal building systems (PEMB) using MBS software.
- Basic CADD knowledge.
- Ability to review others' work for compliance with contract requirements.
- Collaborate with sales personnel and clients to ensure design meets project requirements and specifications.
- Perform engineering calculations and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
Qualifications
- BS in Civil or Structural.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal building systems design.
- PE or SE in southeastern US states or the ability to get reciprocity.
- Proficiency with MBS (Metal Building Software) and pre-engineered metal building design experience.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and applicable codes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Must have be a licensed professional engineer in the USA.
