Atlanta based company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented dealership Title Clerk to join our team in Memphis, TN/West Memphis, AR. The Title Clerk ensures the accurate and timely processing of all vehicle titles and related documentation for sold, traded, or auctioned vehicles. This role involves maintaining compliance with state regulations, collaborating with sales and finance departments and providing exceptional support to customers regarding title and registration matters.
AUTOMOTIVE ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Key Responsibilities:
· Process new and used vehicle titles and registrations in compliance with state and local regulations
· Prepare and submit required documents to the DMV, lien-holders and customers
· Maintain title records, tracking status and resolve discrepancies
· Process title corrections, duplicates and lien releases
· Assist with wholesales, DT's and out-of-state title work as needed
· Follow up with collection of all wholesale and DT money
· Assist with daily deposits
· Gather all car deals each day to make sure all paperwork in deal is included and compliant and all money collected
· Process and sort mail
· Payoff trades and street purchases
· Ensure checks are signed and mailed/distributed correctly
Qualifications:
· Prior experience as an Automotive Title Clerk is a MUST
· Prior accounting office deal biller/general accounting is preferred
· Strong knowledge of state titling and registration requirements
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
· Eager and willing to learn
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
