We are looking for a driver needed for local feed deliveries. Deliveries are within 150 mile radius of the Statesville, NC area. Home each night. 40-55 hrs/week. Pay is negotiable.

Tasks and Responsibilities

· Drive and deliver feed to customers of Deal-Rite Feeds.

· Deliveries within 150 mile radius of Statesville, NC

· Load/unload commodities

· Unload feed at the correct location per company standards

· 50-55 hrs /week.

· Any other tasks as assigned from supervisor

Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED

· Current CDL

· Ability to coordinate mixed loads without cross contamination

· Ability to prioritize activities and use available resources to complete required tasks

· Ability to communicate effectively with customers.

· Ability to deal with a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to follow direction

· Ability to work varied hours/days as business needs dictate.

· Ability to work extra hours as business needs dictate

· Must be able to drive a straight truck.

· Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license.

· Must possess a clean driving record.

· Must be able to pass an occupational chemical screen upon hire and surprise tests hereafter.

· Ability to sit for significant periods of time.

· Ability to move merchandise generally weighing anywhere from 0-50 lbs.

· Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull and move items.

· Ability to communicate with associates and customers.

· Drive and work in adverse weather conditions

All employees shall be subject to drug testing and background checks.
