About Us:
Oggie’s Sports Bar & Grille, located inside The Lodge at Deadwood, is a lively restaurant and bar known for great food, a fun sports atmosphere, and excellent guest service. We’re looking for friendly, energetic Bartenders to join our front-of-house team.
Position Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for providing outstanding customer service by preparing and serving beverages, taking orders, delivering food, engaging with guests, and creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and provide a welcoming experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, specials, and menu offerings
- Check guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any needs
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and service areas
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
Qualifications:
- Previous serving, bartending or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
