Job Summary:
The Lab QA Regulatory Specialist ensures that Deaconess Clinic Labs are compliant with CAP, COLA, and CLIA regulations. This role provides oversight for laboratory accreditation, quality assurance, and non-laboratory based POC testing. Additionally, the coordinator manages the laboratory QA program, offers continuing education for staff, and orients new employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with CAP, COLA, and CLIA regulations.
Oversee COLA accreditation for Deaconess Clinic Lab-West, Gateway, Reo, and Downtown.
Supervise non-laboratory POC testing.
Manage the laboratory QA program, including data gathering, analysis, and meetings.
Provide continuing education opportunities for staff.
Orient new employees as needed.

28 Hours per week - Part Time
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least 2 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
