Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Dental Patient Relations Coordinator who can confidently guide patients from their first interaction through scheduling and follow-up. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, personable, and comfortable managing a high volume of patient communication in a specialty setting.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing patients via phone, text, and online inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments while maintaining an efficient and productive schedule
- Follow up with new leads and pending treatment to drive case acceptance and ensure patients move forward
- Clearly explain next steps, helping patients feel informed and confident in their care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the system
- Coordinate closely with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
Qualifications
- 3 years of dental front office, patient coordination, or treatment coordination experience required
- Experience in a specialty, oral surgery, perio, or implant practice preferred
- Strong communication skills with confidence on the phone and in patient interactions
- Ability to manage high call volume and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar
Compensation
- $27 per hour, based on experience
