Sweeping Day Porter

Position Summary

The Sweeping Day Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of assigned commercial properties. This role ensures properties remain safe, clean, and presentable throughout the day while responding to client needs and supporting overall property operations.

Success in this position is defined by attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to proactively maintain a clean and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of commercial properties
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, litter removal, dusting, window cleaning, and trash removal
• Restock restroom supplies such as paper products and soap as needed
• Respond promptly to service requests including litter pickup and cleanup of debris or illegal dumping
• Monitor properties for maintenance or safety issues and report concerns to appropriate personnel
• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces to support health and safety standards
• Assist with special requests, deliveries, and basic site support as needed
  
  

Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and tenants

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or porter experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and proactive work approach
• Good communication skills and professional presentation
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying environmental conditions
  
  

Work Environment

This role is performed on active commercial properties and may involve both indoor and outdoor work. Work hours are typically Monday through Friday during business hours, with flexibility required based on client needs.

Compensation

$21.00 – $24.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

This role is based out of the North Office located at 4801 E 60th Ave, Commerce City, CO 80022.
