Role Description
This is a contract role for an Oracle Cloud Security Specialist. The role is hybrid, located in Denton, TX, with some work from home acceptable. The Oracle Cloud Security Specialist will be responsible for managing and securing Oracle Cloud environments, identifying and mitigating security risks, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring system activities, conducting security assessments, responding to security incidents, and collaborating with IT and business teams to enhance security posture.
TOP REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Oracle Cloud Security (Admin/Analyst focus):
- Minimum 2 years of Oracle Cloud experience.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Security Console and Oracle application security standards.
- Experience managing roles and application security (not DBA-focused).
- Skilled in handling both operational tasks and analytical problem-solving.
- Access & Identity Management:
- User and data provisioning.
- Role assignments, terminations, and access removal.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Ability to run security/access reports.
- Analytical mindset to troubleshoot and resolve access issues.
- Preferred Skills

- Soft Skills:
- Experience working with HR and Finance business users.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
