Location: Ft. Meade, MD
Job Description:
Serve as a Nutanix Subject Matter Expert
Review the customer’s environment and help address any gaps
- Will have other team resources on site to assist when needed
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in Nutanix environments
Ensure the successful implementation & integration of Nutanix
- Install, configure, and management of Nutanix clusters
Support migration of workloads and data to/from Nutanix clusters
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science or related (preferred)
10 years of experience working with Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructures
Hands-on Nutanix experience
- Nutanix Prism Central
- Acropolis Operating System (AOS)
- Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV)
- Nutanix software-defined storage
Experience with the following complementary technology:
- Virtualization: other hypervisors like VMware ESXi
- Cloud platforms: integrating Nutanix with public clouds like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Networking: Layer 2/3 networking and advanced virtual networking with Nutanix Flow
- Automation: Proficiency with tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
Certifications: Vendor certifications are highly valued
- Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP)
- Nutanix Certified Expert (NCX)
- Other relevant certifications from vendors like VMware, Dell, AWS, or Microsoft
Active DoD TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph Security Clearance
