What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Account Manager position at DCA?
Join a fast-growing international consumer electronics R&D Engineering and manufacturing company, located in the Silicon Valley area of California, as one of their key Technical Account Managers. This is a full-time hybrid work employee position, work on-site and from home. This is not a contract or remote work position! Use your years of experience in high volume consumer product technical account/sales management and act as the technical liaison between the R&D team off-shore and North American existing customers and develop new business and grow sales with emerging Silicon Valley consumer products hardware startups. You will ensure that customer expectations and technical requirements are correctly understood and communicated. Be key in identifying market trends in categories such as wearables (AI, VR & audio glasses), game controllers, smartphone, laptops, and AI robotics to present new ideas to customers to gain revenue from new design wins. You will also lead technical presentations and proof of concept demonstrations to customer engineers and manage customer satisfaction scores and feedback. Strong project/program execution skills are required to ensure timely delivery of solutions that meet customer expectations. 10 years of experience in global technical account/sales management within the consumer electronics industry. Technical Account Management with customers such as Google, Meta, Amazon, Dell, HP, Microsoft would be ideal. Some international travel is required. Local candidates with 10 years of skills and experience with the technical account/sales management, and company customers and product lines listed above, or similar, will be considered first.
