Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic Electronic Manufacturing Service production team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining efficient operations within our facility. This position is crucial for keeping assembly lines running, preventing downtime, and working with a variety of machinery, along with focusing on safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products according to specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly.
- Assist with setup, changeovers, and calibration of machinery to optimize production efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, quality checks, and maintenance logs.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and improve operational workflows.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Associates degree is required.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently, following established procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems is advantageous.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with adherence to safety standards.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Training and experience with IPC-610 and/or J-STD001 standards, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with ISO and OSHA procedures.
