Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Washington, DC for a Case Manager. The Case Manager will provide assistance to individuals by helping them navigate the health insurance marketplace, answering inquiries, and resolving cases in a timely and efficient manner. This role involves reviewing applications, determining eligibility, coordinating with other departments and external stakeholders, and maintaining comprehensive records. The Case Manager will aim to provide excellent customer service and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.


Qualifications

  • Customer Service and Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience working directly with customers in service-oriented environments.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to assess complex cases, identify solutions, and ensure accurate case resolution.
  • Organizational and Attention-to-Detail Skills: Expertise in managing multiple tasks and maintaining accurate records with strong attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with online data management systems, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
  • Healthcare or Insurance Knowledge: Understanding of health insurance principles, ACA policies, or marketplace operations is beneficial.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to resolve cases efficiently.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Business, or Social Sciences) or equivalent work experience.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing policies, work environments, and client needs.
