Job Overview
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for operating a crushing and wash plant in a sand and gravel pit. Prior crush and wash plant experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-shift plant inspections.
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance, such as greasing and topping off fluid levels.
- Responsible for plant maintenance and repair, such as liner changes, bearings, belt splice and greasing machinery.
- Fabrication/Welding experience.
- Adherence to company safety protocol-MSHA compliance, such as lock out – tag out procedures.
- Heavy Equipment operation such as Front-End Loader and Track Excavator
- Daily reporting of workplace examination, production and planned repair
Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience a mining environment preferred.
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations
- Ability to lift & carry heavy loads, and perform manual labor tasks.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to climb ladders, lift & carry heavy loads, and perform manual labor tasks.
- Work as team
Work Environment
- Work will occur at a sand and gravel pit.
- Work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, risk of electric shock, dust, the elements, and elevated noise levels.

Pay: From $30-35 per hour depending on Experience
Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
Shift: M-F 4:00AM-2:00PM – Saturdays as needed
