In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing janitorial equipment, including:
- Floor care machines
- Vacuum cleaners
- Buffers
- Installing laundry and kitchen systems and other cleaning devices used in commercial settings.
The ideal candidate will have proven mechanical expertise with janitorial appliances.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repair on janitorial equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Replace or repair parts as necessary
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a janitorial equipment maintenance technician
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of janitorial equipment
- Familiarity with circuit boards and low-voltage systems
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments
- The candidate must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean DMV record, as they will need to travel to the client's job sites, typically within an hour drive max., to perform machinery repairs.
