Along with ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, the Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward will assist with inventory management and maintain a clean and safe working environment. As a valued member of our team, this individual will also demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent communication skills when interacting with colleagues and clients. - Clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using the appropriate cleaning products and methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including sorting and removing trash and recycling.
- Ensure that all food items are properly washed and stored, and that kitchen equipment is properly maintained.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures, including monitoring and recording food temperatures and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with the management of kitchen inventory, including maintaining appropriate levels of cleaning supplies and notifying management of any inventory needs.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure all necessary tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor when interacting with colleagues and clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Par rate is $15 an hour.
