We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in commercial and residential settings.
- Maintain floors through buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure they remain in excellent condition.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to support overall facility upkeep.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates willing to learn.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is advantageous.
- Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices will be beneficial for this role.
- Porter experience is helpful for maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic areas.
