Stator Iron Assembly - 1st Shift

The position of Stator Iron Assembly will include but is not limited to: Stator iron assembly, single torch weld – iron, welding to pole piece (hyd) presses, and iron grind and inspect.

Essential qualifications for this position include:

• Experience with and proficient ability to use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, go/no-go gages and electrical testing equipment.
• Must have basic math skills - adding/subtracting/angles/fractions/etc.
• Must comprehend and use assembly prints and tolerances
• Pass welding tests as required
• Wear welding helmet, vest, and gloves
• Ability to operate a hand truck and forklift

Non-Essential qualifications for this position include:

• Able to lift, push or pull up to 40 lbs.

• Able to operate an overhead crane.

• Ability to move materials within the department

• Able to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and arms.
• Able to use hand tools and other equipment as required.

• Ability to work on feet and must be able to work with hands

• Is safety oriented, follows shop rules.
