We’re looking for a detail-oriented Paint Touch Up & Electromechanical Assembler to join our team full-time! This role combines small-part assembly, light soldering, adhesive bonding, and fine paint touch-up to ensure our products meet both functional and cosmetic aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and solder small electrical components according to work instructions and technical drawings
- Mix, apply, and cure epoxies and adhesives using taping, fixturing, and oven processes
- Remove masking materials and perform detailed paint touch-up to correct surface defects, ensuring parts meet cosmetic and workmanship standards prior to quality inspection
- Visually inspect finished parts for color consistency, surface quality, and detail accuracy
- Operate hand tools, soldering irons, and basic measuring/testing equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and quality procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- Comply with all DG safety procedures and policies as directed by the Facility Engineer/Safety Director
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Minimum 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing setting
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on soldering experience with small, detailed components
- Experience performing fine paint touch-up or cosmetic surface finishing on parts
- Experience working with adhesives, epoxies, or bonding materials
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and blueprints
Preferred but not required:
- Background in aerospace or electronic component manufacturing
