Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, windows, and furniture, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Maintain public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational areas by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, linens, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards.
• Follow health and safety protocols rigorously to prevent contamination and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or similar hospitality environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and industrial cleaning methods.
• Familiarity with hospitality standards and guest service expectations to deliver a welcoming experience.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet extractors safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards consistently.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and walking throughout shifts.
