Resident Interaction:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Assist new residents with the move-in process, including orientation and introduction to community amenities.
- Maintain regular communication with residents through newsletters, social media, and other channels.
- Plan, organize, and execute community events and activities to promote resident engagement and build a sense of community.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for events and resident services.
- Manage event budgets and ensure all activities align with the property’s goals and policies.
- Provide resources and referrals for resident needs, such as local services, maintenance requests, and other community resources.
- Assist residents with lease renewals, understanding lease terms, and any other housing-related matters.
- Provide information and assistance to residents regarding community amenities, policies, procedures, and local resources.
- Collaborate with the property management team to address and resolve resident issues.
- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, service requests, and prepare reports as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing correspondence, updating resident information, and processing move-in/move-out paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with property policies and procedures, including fair housing regulations.
- Coordinator with vendors and contractors for resident services, such as maintenance request and any inspections of turn efforts.
- Foster positive relationships between residents and the property management team.
- Support marketing and leasing efforts by participating in community outreach and engagement activities.
- Actively seek feedback from residents to continuously improve services and community offerings.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve leasing goals.
- Proficient in conflict resolution
- Knowledge of resident accounting ledgers and lease renewal process
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-focused mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with prospective and current residents.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Proficiency in property management software, (i.e. RealPage) and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet leasing goals in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in leasing or sales, preferably in multifamily residential properties.
- Prior experience in property management or customer service preferred.
