Overview
Daybar Southeast Manufacturing is currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our growing team in Largo, Florida.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Production Team reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for taking up a variety of supporting tasks in a safe and efficient manner with a focus on producing a finished product of superior quality.
Excellent time management skills, good communication and teamwork is essential as all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers to ensure production and warehouse procedures are carried out.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong product knowledge of hollow metal products.
- Minimum 2 years experience on CNC Brake Press or similar
- Ability to run and make minor changes in programming on the CNC Brake Press
- Knowledge of using a computer.
- Knowledge of using and operating forklift, power and hand tools, accurately read a caliper and tape measure.
- Ability to read work orders, blueprints, sketches, templates, elevations and understand instructions.
- Bending of custom and standard profile steel door frame components within tolerances using CNC Brake Press in accordance to the work order, blueprints, sketches, templates and elevations.
