We’re looking for a full-time Instrumentation & Control Engineering Summer Intern to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Greenville, SC. Student intern position to assist Instrumentation & Control Engineering Department by marking up electrical drawings and providing assistance with engineering calculations and any other supporting tasks to support engineers and designers.

Job Summary

As the Instrumentation & Control Engineering Summer Intern, here’s the work you’ll do:
- Perform design calculations under supervision of engineers.
- Reviewing and marking up drawings.
- Assist in cost estimate preparation.
- Assist in assembly of project submittals.
- Technical Proficiency.
- Communication Proficiency.
- Self Motivated / Initiative.
- Adaptability / Flexibility.
- Critical Thinking.
- Data privacy, information security and policy compliance.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering (EE) program.
- Has completed 2 years of study in EE Program.
- Eligibility Requirement: Due to the nature of the work and applicable federal contract requirements, U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
- Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance.
- Great attitude and team player.
- Successful completion of background and drug screening process.
